Seattle Author Susan Mallery’s Book Three Little Words Hits...

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 08, 2013

Seattle author Susan Mallery's name is a familiar one on the bestsellers lists, and she's done it again. Her latest Fool's Gold romance novel, Three Little Words, has debuted at number 2 - statistically tied with number one - on the New York Times mass market paperback and ebook bestsellers lists, and at number four on the USA Today bestsellers list, which tracks all books on a single list. Three Little Words is the third book of this year's Fool's Gold trilogy. Earlier this summer, both Just One Kiss and Two of a Kind also debuted in the Top Ten on the New York Times list.

Three Little Words is about Navy SEAL Ford Hendrix, who returns to his California hometown to open a bodyguard academy. He's not sure how he feels about living so close to his family after fourteen years, especially when his mother seems determined to marry him off, the quicker, the better. In order to preserve his bachelorhood without hurting his mother's feelings, he asks the girl next door to pose as his fake girlfriend for a few weeks, and then pretend to break his heart.

Is the number two spot a new high for Mallery? Sort of. Last year, Summer Nights also landed on the New York Times mass market paperback bestsellers list at number two. The difference is, this year, the number two is followed by an asterisk, indicating that it is in a statistical tie for number one.

"I'm honored," Mallery says, when asked how she feels about her achievement. "The reason my books continue to hit the bestsellers lists is because my readers rush out to buy them as soon as they are released. In fact, I hear from a lot of readers that they were at the bookstore on release day before the booksellers had even put my books out on the shelves. Readers tell their friends about my books, and they tell their friends, and it's all very exciting."

Word of mouth has a lot to do with the success of Mallery's latest book. Three Little Words was released on July 30 in mass market paperback, ebook, and audiobook. Eight days later, on August 7, there were 354 customer reviews on the popular book selling website Amazon.com, with an average rating of 4.8 out of 5 stars. On Barnes and Noble's website, there are 243 customer reviews, averaging 4.5 out of 5.

On August 27, Mallery will release her first cookbook, Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold Cookbook, followed by Christmas on 4th Street, a romance novel on September 24. Mallery makes her home in Bellevue.

Book Release Contest: Three Little Words, a Fool's Gold Romance...

Seattle, WA (PRWEB) August 02, 2013

To celebrate the release of her latest book, Three Little Words, author Susan Mallery has launched a contest on her website, http://www.SusanMallery.com. On Sunday, August 6, Mallery will choose fifty winners at random to receive a limited edition Fool’s Gold mouse pad, which doubles as a picture frame. Fool’s Gold is the fictional setting of Mallery’s most popular series of romance novels.

“I look for creative ways to give back to my wonderful readers,” says Mallery, who has sold more than twenty-five million books worldwide. “The reason Just One Kiss and Two of a Kind debuted in the top 10 on the New York Times bestsellers list earlier this summer is because my readers were so excited to get their hands on the books that they rushed out to buy them the moment they were released. That is an incredible honor for me as an author. Contests are a great way for me to show that I appreciate their enthusiasm for my books. This mouse pad is great. It’s one-of-a-kind, not available in stores. It’s colorful and romantic and fun, and my readers are going to love it. It’s not just a mouse pad, it’s also a picture frame.”

Three of a Kind, the much anticipated third book in the trilogy, was released on July 30 in mass market paperback, e-book, and audiobook. It’s a fun, flirty contemporary romance between a Navy SEAL-turned-bodyguard and the girl who wrote to him for years. She’s a woman now, mortified that she confessed so many teenage secrets to him in those letters, but he’s hard to avoid in small-town Fool’s Gold.

While it’s the third 2013 Fool’s Gold release (and Mallery’s fourth release this year), Three of a Kind is the seventeenth Fool’s Gold romance, including four e-book exclusive novellas. The Fool’s Gold series started in 2010 with the release of Chasing Perfect, and has made regular appearances on bestselling books lists ever since. The Fool’s Gold romances have been featured in Cosmopolitan Magazine, Woman’s Day, and In Touch.

Readers can enter the contest for the mouse pad/picture frame at http://www.SusanMallery.com.

Plaques- Frame Them With Words

Working on commemorative plaques can act as purgation for your soul where after a month or so of constant mourning for you loved one, you can ultimately work on a thing that is going to officially etch out the achievements of the departed soul, forever. Generally these things, framing the much emotional and heart-felt thoughts for the beloved (who has just left the earth), are created a few days after the funeral services are over. You can either opt for the ones with pictures and messages, or those with only messages.

You can avail online help for crafting some of the most beautifully wrought messages for the departed available or else you can create something of your own. You can either go for a conventional message consisting of the name of the person along with his or her years of living or else you can also choose to create something of your own clearly manifesting your feelings for the deceased in words. It would be better if you do not take help from outside but create something of your own (even a one liner will do), so as to keep the personal touch intact.

Make sure that after creating the plaques, you are keeping it clean-free of dust. Here, ensure that you are using only plain tap water or for that matter a soft clean cloth or brush for cleaning purposes. Please remember not to avail any corrosive brass cleaners for the same.

It will be good if you settle for the design and message only after holding discussions with other family members of the deceased. You can convey the decision to the people looking after the framing of the plaques so that they can work accordingly.

You can choose from a range of designs, colours and textures including green, black, granite, bronze, and the heart shaped ones etc.

You can browse online for necessary help. Choose from among a range of funeral plaques as per your needs and budget. Remember zeroing in on the most favored designs and pictures, in this case will not be easy. The lingering feeling that you are etching out the parting words like "Rest in Peace", "In loving memory of...." for someone you hold so close to your heart will be there. But try to rise above it, at least while working on things like the plaques, headstones etc, because here are a few places where you get to pay a fitting tribute to the departed.
