Blackmores Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Gold

Generic Name: Multi-vitamin supplement (see Action for details)
Product Name: Blackmores Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Gold

Blackmores Pregnancy and Breastfeeding Gold may help women obtain the amount of folate they need 1 month prior to conception, during pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Folate requirements increase immediately after a woman becomes pregnant and inadequate folate in the very early stages of pregnancy has been associated with the risk of brain and/or spinal cord birth defects such as spina bifida and anencephaly. Therefore, taking Blackmores Pregnancy and Breast-Feeding Gold 1 month prior to conception and during pregnancy may reduce the likelihood of these defects in the infant.

Blackmores Pregnancy and Breast-Feeding Gold also contains other micronutrients that may be beneficial during pregnancy and breastfeeding for both mother and baby.

Your doctor will be able to advise if this product is suitable for you. Consult your doctor before taking any medication or supplement.
