Product Name: Elevit

Elevit is a supplement containing many different vitamins and minerals that are essential during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Elevit contains folic acid which, if taken appropriately, may help reduce brain and/or spinal cord defects. This product also contains iron to help prevent iron deficiency which commonly occurs in pregnancy.


Your doctor will be able to advise if this product is suitable for you. Consult your doctor before taking any medication or supplement.

Our body requires many essential vitamins and minerals for it to function at its best. However, during "high stress" periods (e.g. during pregnancy and/or lactation), the requirements for these essential vitamins and minerals increase tremendously. This is when a supplement such as Elevit comes in handy.

Dose information

Take one tablet daily with a glass of waterIf you experience morning sickness, take the tablet at noon or even in the evening.Recommended to start Elevit at least 4 weeks prior to falling pregnant and right throughout pregnancy and breastfeeding.If you use antacids, please ensure you space the antacid doses and your Elevit doses as far apart as possible.Some antibiotics may interfere with absorption of Elevit. Please consult your health professional if you are unsure.

Elevit is safe to use during breastfeeding provided you use it correctly. Doses should never exceed what has been recommended to you and avoid other products that also contain vitamin D or iron, unless directed by your doctor.
